Nylon fiber is generally more expensive than polyester and
olefin fiber and in the same style as polyester will look the same
brand new. After a year of wear a carpet made of nylon will
still look new while a carpet made of polyester will already
show permanent wear. Nylon carpet is also generally softer to
the hand than both polyester and olefin. Nylon carpet is
available in all the most popular styles including plush, berber,
and frieze.
