FAQ > Carpet Cleaning > What about those guys who advertise "Dry in 1 hour" ?

This method is the same as the bonnet method. The carpet cleaner sprays the cleaning solutions on the carpet, and then uses a floor buffer and cotton pad to pick up the soil. This method can improve the appearance of the carpet, but many times the homeowner is left feeling that the carpet could be cleaner. Since this method requires very little money to start (less than $1000 plus vehicle), you have to wonder how committed the carpet cleaner really is. Many of the guys who use this method are not
educated on the many different cleaning solutions available and the result is a soil attracting residue that is left on the carpet. We actually have the equipment on our truck to do this method, and we can add our knowledge of all cleaning solutions available to make sure we are not leaving a soil attracting residue. Which would you rather have clean your carpet? A $1000 machine and cotton pads? Or a $50,000 machine and lots of 240+ degree water.
