So your friends have let you know that your house could smell better.....

There are many causes for carpet odor. Maybe you just added a new puppy to the household that is extra tough to train. Or maybe an older cat that just has a hard time holding its bladder. Even sometimes, you have an animal with an attitude!

As a dog owner, I know that you can't just get rid of him/her, they are family.  Give us a call and we will fix the odor problem and not just cover it up.

How do we solve the problem?

The most important step in treating pet odor is finding the spots.  Sometimes this is as simple as seeing the spots. At times, it takes a combination of a high quality black light and a moisture meter. Then there are those times that we have to sniff them out with our nose.  The bottom line is, if we don't find the right spots we are wasting money (the products for pet odor are very expensive) and we won't be successful.

Once we have found and marked all the trouble areas, we start with the treatment.  We apply just enough solution to soak into the pad, it should be slightly squishy.  At this point, it is very important to let the product do its work for a good 20-30 minutes.  This dwelling time makes all the difference in success of odor deletion.

Once the treatment has had its time, it is time to extract.  We use a device that is meant for flood extraction to suck up all the solution out of the pad.  If the odor is extreme enough, we will repeat the process.

As a final note, we will clean the carpet.  Pet treatment is usually done along with carpet cleaning anyway.  With this process we have such a high success rate that we guarantee our work.

What does a high quality service like this cost?

Unfortunately, we can not give a definitive price like we do on carpet cleaning.  It's not that we are trying to hide our prices, it's just that we never see the same pet odor job twice.  Sometimes there may be six spots in a 5,000 square foot home, and then we might find 40 spots in a 1,200 square foot home.

What we can do is give you an idea of what it can cost.  Pet odor treatment starts at $80 and usually averages $150.  A $150 pet odor job will cover about two rooms with a good amount of pet spots.

Our big pet odor guarantee!

I will keep it simple. If after a week, or so (once all the smell goods have gone away), there is any noticeable pet odor then we will return and treat the carpet again.  If the second treatment doesn't fix it, we will fully refund the whole pet odor charge.
